God’s War on Terror by Walid Shoebat

If you have no idea who Walid Shoebat is, then you are missing out. Click here to visit his website.

I have heard Walid Shoebat interviewed numerous times and all I can say is that if you want to learn of an amazing testimony of a man coming to Christ and leaving Islam, then you have to start listening to Walid.

Today he is being interviewed on Janet Parshall’s America about his newest book God’s War on Terror and you have to get a copy of this book.

This is from Janet’s website today:

We as Christians await the coming of Christ. But do you realize:

* Islam awaits the coming of the Mahdi?
* the Mahdi ushers in a 7 year peace treaty?
* the Mahdi changes times and laws?
* the Mahdi will rule from the Temple Mount?
* Islam does not honor women
AND…
* Islam cuts the heads off of those who are infidels (Christians and Jews)

If you think that this isn’t true concerning radical Islam, check out the Persecution Blog I write on weekdays and you will see numerous stories of the persecution towards Christians from followers of Islam.

I guess a question I have, is what does our new incoming President really believe?

Merry Orthodox Christmas

As you know, today is January 6th, which is a great day in history, which is something we have already established. However, it is also Christmas today in the Orthodox Christian Tradition, so to all of my Orthodox brothers and sisters, Merry Christmas!

I still have my tree up in your honor. :)

January 6th…A Great Day in History

I was thinking about what day it is today, and it occurred to me that it is January 6th. January 6th…wow…a great day in history. For me, January 6th turned out to be a pivotal day in my history. Not only because it was the day I choose to begin to deal with all of the pain from my past, but also because it really signifies to me today the path God put me on so many years ago.

Nineteen years ago today was the first time I saw a counselor. Her name was Rachel, and it was a Saturday evening when I had my appointment. I remember it so clearly because I was amazed she saw people on a Saturday, and I also remember because I got lost on my way to her office and I was late - something I hate to be. But I was coming from Riverside down to Orange County and I didn’t know my way around Orange County at that time, so she was gracious and understood why I was late.

All that to say, that if someone had told me today - 19 years later - that my life would be as good as it is today, I’m not sure I would’ve believed them. But the God I know and love has done great and wonderful things in my life, and it began in a very profound way on January 6, 1990.

As it turns out on January 6, 1850 I just learned that the famous Prince of Preachers, Charles Spurgeon, also committed his life to Christ on that day. He was 15 years old, and wasn’t able to go to his normal church. Instead he found a very small church where a man was struggling to preach and the man pointed to Charles and said, “Look, young man! Look! Look to Christ!” - And as history shows, Charles Spurgeon did look to Christ and preached to over 10 million people in his lifetime. (And this was before microphones)

January 6th is indeed, a great day in history.

Character Counts - How is Yours? by Greg Laurie

This is a great article by Pastor Greg Laurie - Click here to read.

Character counts. Integrity matters. What kind of character do you have? Are you a man or woman of personal integrity? The evangelist D. L. Moody once defined character as “What you are in the dark.” Humorist Will Rogers said, “So live that you wouldn’t mind selling your pet parrot to the town gossip.”
